Back in older times, people would write with a quill and ink. With this method, it was all too easy to make mistakes when penning something. One would have to practice and train for years to be able to write even one's name free of ink blots. If one did not, they would have numerous mistakes that would show a lack of skill and precision. Today we don't have that same problem. When we have errors we erase with our pencils or click the backspace key a few dozen times. Unlike them we can eliminate mistakes. But is that a good thing? Mistakes can make pieces of writing better, more than a few of my mistakes have turned into highlights. The inkblot can be your friend. In other words, learn to love your mistakes.
